Since the project inception in 1984, over 100 people have been directly involved in research and dissemination of research - as researchers, students, staff, and collaborators. Some have received direct support from NSF and other funding; others have brought their own resources and used the study sites, seed collection, nutrient analysis, maps, and local expertise to advance their own research questions.
